Collegium Ladyes Spring Concert!  An A Cappella Women's Ensemble.

April is National Poetry Month, and our concert will feature works of great poets and time-honored texts.

The Collegium Ladyes began in early 2011 in collaboration with the student Collegium at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. They have since branched out on their own as an all-women's early music vocal ensemble. Under the direction of Jenny Gettel, the Ladyes sing a wide variety of repertoire ranging from Gregorian chant to traditional carols.

Patrons are asked to bring two cans of food and a $5.00 suggested donation. The food and half the money raised goes to the Central City Churches food pantry. Doors open 7:30 p.m.

Each month a food pantry benefit is held, and this month's musical focus is any work by Neil Young.

The Spirals will play a 25 minute set of Neil Young tunes. There will be three other sets of artists sharing their 25 minute sets for your entertainment and pleasure that same evening!
